The Vickers Viscount model kit.

The S&M Models Vickers Viscount model kit is a full injection moulded product. Produced in white polystyrene plastic on three separate sprus of special note is the undercarriage and wheel hub detail included.

The instructions are exploded view type and cover painting details for the livery included in the kit. A small ballast weight (10 grms) will be required for fitting into the nose of the kit to allow it to stand fully on its undercarriage.

Waterslide decals are included giving full markings for a choice of 4 aircraft operated by Eagle Airways Ltd., in Europe and the Bahamas.

Why Eagle Airways livery?
Its all a question of copyright and patient. The BEA ‘Red Square’ is regarded as an iconic one for British airliners of the period. However this livery is still copyright to British Airways and they charge a fee for its use. This fee would have made the kits retail price un-economic, Mr Harold Bamburg who still owns copyright to Eagle Airways liveries gave his permission for its use in the kit.
